U-Dox is a multi disciplinary creative agency that works from the inside out, embracing genuine cultural insight, design and technology to create deep rooted stories and ideas that people really care about. U-DOX employ 50+ staff occupying their Shoreditch office and a dozen staff travelling the globe on photoshoots and sets. With their target audience the corporate market it was imperative they had a state of the art networking solution that could be centrally managed as well as a reputable Managed IT Support provider.

We were referred to U-DOX by their FD as they had an imminent office move which needed to be completed within a matter of weeks. We supplied new connectivity, structured cabling, and electrics for the new site. The client was using a basic Synology NAS drive for file storage and all centralised management of their network. IT had reached the end of its three-year life cycle and warranty, it presented a real risk to the business for hardware failure, which would result in productivity loss. As a result, they needed:

• New server recommendations
• Server migration support
• Limited interruption to the business whilst implementing the new server
• Secure file and email access for staff

White we were moving U-DOX to their new office, we Hosted their data storage at our own facility to allow a smooth transition across sites with minimal downtime for the staff.

After examining the performance-related issues in the previous office setup INK Networks proposed a cost-efficient solution to ensure a secure & powerful IT Infrastructure for U-DOX. To achieve reliable connectivity and maximum uptime INK migrated U-DOX’s systems and data to a new Virtual server platform in their new office. The London based datacentre utilises robust identity scanners and provides a secure environment to store U-DOX’s creative data.

U-DOX work around the clock, due to client’s often being on different time zones, to provide exemplary service to their customers, so being able to access files, applications and documents from the office, on the move and at home is of paramount importance. In the unlikely event an issue arising, U-DOX operate safe in the knowledge that a INK Networks support engineer will start fixing the problem within 10 minutes. By replacing old endpoints and implementing a secure back up and disaster recovery solution, INK have enhanced productivity and de risked U-DOX’s business. By installing a SonicWALL managed firewall INK have addressed U-DOX’s connectivity issues and guaranteed maximum bandwidth.
